Lazeez Shawarma brings Middle Eastern food spiced to perfection, marinated right, and topped with signature sauces. The first Lazeez opened in Mississauga in 2013 with a menu focused on authentic flavours and freshness, and the franchise has since grown to more than 50 locations across Ontario.

What Lazeez Shawarma Offers
Everything starts with the traditional vertical rotisserie. Chicken, beef or mixed shawarma comes wrapped in pita with your choice of toppings — lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, hot peppers, black olives — and there are Canadian twists such as the Chicken Shawarma Poutine with halal chicken, cheese curds and hot gravy, and the Yalla Bowl with chicken or falafel and the house garlic or sesame Dunk Sauce. Falafel sandwiches and beef kofta kebabs round out the menu, and any item can be made a combo with fries or salad and a drink. Lazeez has been the “Official Shawarma of Canada Basketball” since 2023.
Delivery and Catering
Order at the counter, or through DoorDash, Skip the Dishes or Uber Eats for delivery in the Newmarket area. For parties and events, catering platters, sides and a range of vegetarian dishes are available — call ahead for a quote.
