Prescription Transfer Services

If you recently moved to our neighbourhood, you can transfer all or some of your prescriptions to our pharmacy. Visit us Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM to transfer your prescriptions in person. To transfer online, search for our location at https://www.guardian-ida-remedysrx.ca/ and look for the “Transfer your prescriptions” button.

Seasonal Vaccines

Vaccination is the best strategy for staying healthy during the peak respiratory infection seasons in Ontario. The current recommendations by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization call for universal vaccination against influenza, respiratory syncytial, and COVID-19 viruses. We also carry conjugate vaccines to protect against Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria. The early fall is ideal for immunization.

Blood Pressure Screening

Getting your pressure checked at our pharmacy involves real-time monitoring and recording, which we can integrate into your health record. Whether you live with hypertension or are curious about your cardiovascular health, we explain the healthy ranges of your blood pressure readings. If you recently started hypertension treatment, we can recommend the equipment and best practices for monitoring at home.

Diabetes Education

Being diagnosed with prediabetes or diabetes mellitus type 2 is a life-changing situation that forces patients to make substantial adjustments. Our Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs) provide personalized support to diabetes patients, particularly with regard to glucose monitoring. We can teach you the best practices for using blood glucose meters and continuous monitors; moreover, we help you understand the daily readings as they apply to your A1C levels. If you are struggling through sick days and glucose crises, we can help you develop a plan for urgent relief and optimal management.
